This September, mPrint marks its 10th year! "We’re extremely excited to reach this milestone and be thriving in this challenging economic environment," said Jessica Magnarella, owner of mPrint Design. "We are very grateful to our clients for making this possible. Most of our current clients have been with us since the beginning and nearly all of our new contracts are due to word of mouth referrals."

Since 2002, mPrint Design has worked for many well-established large companies, notable non-profits, and local small businesses. "We work with all types of businesses and organizations in Athens and across the country," Magnarella said. Numerous design awards verify mPrint's creativity, but Magnarella is quick to point out that, "The real thrill is hearing from our clients that our design is integral to their success."

Magnarella also noted mPrint’s commitment to the community during the past 10 years. “We've donated thousands of hours to area non-profits –
we love being an Athens business and are thankful that Athens has supported us.”

mPrint is very pleased to add Callie Prickett to the team.

Callie received a BFA in Art with a concentration in graphic design from Georgia Southern University. She then moved to Athens to study Music Business at UGA and quickly became involved in the music scene – designing posters for shows around town.

Like a many of us, Callie fell in love with the people and culture of Athens and decided to stick around for awhile. She says, “Three years later I still love the town and have a great job at the best design company in Athens!”

In July, 2012 Greenhouse Grower magazine awarded Ken and Leah James of James Greenhouses in Colbert, Georgia, “Operation of the Year.” This is a peer-nominated award which recognizes industry operations offering high-quality growing practices, innovative marketing, strong customer service, and leadership in the industry.

Each year, James Greenhouses uses the latest research and modern production practices and high tech facilities to produce more than 13 million vegetative perennial and annual liners. The “Operation of the Year” award was open to growers nationally and James Greenhouses competed against operations many times their size. Way to go, James!
